#Shark bridge adventure aquarium new jersey windowsThe hippos we're in a tank that had no access to the outdoors, only a few small windows in the ceiling. Some of the exhibits were depressing, like the hippos in the tank (I got to see them being fed heads of lettuce, which was cool to watch), as well as the large bird in the tiny display case. The shark tunnel is also a hit with the kids! User ( 09:11) It's ok for what it is, which is a zoo for water animals. It's not as large as the National Aquarium in Baltimore, but overall I was impressed. The Hippo feeding was awesome! Overall, it takes about 3 hours to walk through the entire Aquarium, which feel very quick. The exhibits are great for the younger kids in your family, and there are quite a few good hourly presentations. User ( 20:48) Fun family adventure on a Saturday afternoon! Price of admission is decent and the food inside is also decently priced. #Shark bridge adventure aquarium new jersey freeHonestly, I would go more if they had a more reasonably-priced membership or membership offered more perks, such as free parking, or if you could buy a family membership that was transferable to anyone in your party like several city museums do, but the structure as is also does not seem worth the cost, especially given that you can see the entire aquarium in a single visit. That being said, we typically visit once a year because it’s still a fun, educational place for kids. In fact, after visiting the beautiful, five-story National Aquarium in Baltimore and paying about the same for admission, I find the cost borderline offensive. User ( 03:51) This is not a bad aquarium, but I find the price of admission quite high for its size. But for us, while it was still an enjoyable visit, we'll probably go elsewhere to visit our next aquarium. Our kids are in high school & beyond, so it was not as appealing to us, but we saw lots of families with younger children who were really enjoying the many attractions geared more towards them. It seems to be geared more towards families with younger children. They have lots of other fish displays, with several locations where visitors can reach in and touch different creatures. We also enjoyed the simulated thunderstorm in the rainforest display, and seeing the sea turtles swimming about. Probably one of the most unique attractions is the pair of Hippo's that reside at the aquarium, along with the Shark Tunnel, and, of course, the Shark Bridge. User ( 04:34) This is a good sized aquarium, with a lot of attractions. The shark tank also has a shark tunnel to walk through where the sharks swim around you and a shark walk, where you walk over the shark tank in an enclosed rope bridge. There was a large tank with fish, turtles, and some sharks and a 2nd large tank with more sharks and fish. I got to touch 2 sharks, several starfish, sea cucumber, sea urchin, sting ray, horseshoe crab, and a blue lobster. For an aquarium, you can touch a lot of animals which was amazing. Went in December so there were Christmas trees everywhere including a large underwater one in the shark area. What Other Say: User ( 03:10) Not as big as expected, but had a great time.
